Thursday Thoughts

Just some random thoughts in my head today.

This morning, my boss wanted to know what was on her schedule for tomorrow. I carefully went over her schedule with her, only to be told that tomorrow is Friday, not Thursday. So, I guess that makes today Thursday. Crazy. This week fleeeew by. Yes! One step closer to Friday!

My English classes are going G.R.E.A.T.! I have a class with 5 adult students and they are working very hard. It is so fun to be in a teaching role again, and to watch as my students finally understand a language they have been trying to learn for so long. Some for over 20 years! Plus, my students have recently begun to show their appreciation by bringing me meals from their country. Talk about delicious! We had a cilantro rice and chicken dish from Peru last week, and tonight, Colombian food is on the menu! Also, one of the students in Dallas' class has invited us over for dinner on Friday night, so we have been richly blessed by our wonderful students. Yum!

There are NO outlet malls near my house. This just occurred to me, and it STINKS. I have a great coupon I would like to use, but I have nowhere to cash it in. The nearest outlet mall is 3 hours from us, which is just too far to drive to save a buck or two. If you live near an outlet mall, consider yourself lucky.

I can not wait until Fall. I am so looking forward to crisp, cool air, football games, cookouts, not sweating to death as I walk to my car (because that's the ONLY place I'm walking in this heat!), festivals, apples, camping and BIRTHDAYS! Dallas and I both have Fall birthdays, as does my sister and all of my cousins. Fall is such a time of celebration and gathering together as a family. Which I could definitely use a little more of!

Obviously, my brain is filled with jumbles of thoughts, but thanks for hanging in there with me!

I hope you all have a wonderful day, and remember....tomorrow is FRIDAY!

    2. I don't want to hear a word of complaint about a lack of shopping.
